Success Series III: Success Factors

Still on super success (III)
"This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shall meditate therein day and night, that thou may observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shall make thy way prosperous, and then thou shall make thy way prosperous, and then thou shall have good success" (Joshua 1:8).
I'm sure you know that success cannot hide itself, neither does it come by wishes. Success has no preference. It has no favorite skin color, state of origin; rather success takes the skin color of any who dares to pay the price! Success does not select people it; it's people that select success. "Behold, I and the children whom the Lord has given me are for signs and for wonders in Isreal from the Lord of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion" (Isaiah 8:18). 
Everyone that carries God has the capacity to succeed. As a light of the world, you are designed to command attention anywhere you are. It is not a gift but a result that answers to the operation of the Iron law of life - the Law of Cause and Effect, you have to make it happen. It obeys the law of sowing and reaping and requires effort. 

But why then do many believers fail today?
They refuse to realize that Salvation is only a platform to succeed but does not guarantee automatic success, it only gives you an edge to succeed. Success obeys a law therefore all that obey the law succeed, that's what proves your journey ends in good success.

What then are these success factors? 

• A Burning Desire: All success stories begin with a burning desire resident in the heart of man. Desire is the pacesetter for success. A burning desire is a motivation for action. Have you asked yourself how bad you want success? How much do you want it that you are willing to sacrifice for it? The extent of your achievement in life is determined by the intensity of your desires! Desire breeds hunger. As the rocket propellant is to a rocket engine so is desire to a man. If you so much desire it, you will behave it. A burning desire is reflective in your behaviors and attitudes in life. "One thing have i desired of the Lord, that will i seek after, that i may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple" (Psalms 27:4). "The proof of desire is pursuit"...Dr Mike Murdock. Nothing powers self discipline to attain success like a sense of burning desire.

Desire Makes a man to pay the price to get the prize. Many lack tangible achievements today not because of the lack of talents or opportunities but the lack of burning desire for a change of levels! A wise man once said "the hand will not reach for what the heart does not long for". It is the longing of the heart that motivates the stretching of the hand! To get somewhere you must get there first in your mind! Your rating in desire determines your ultimate rating in destiny. Your life today is a reflection of what you desired yesterday. Life has no spare so maximize the moment. Every good thing that happens is made to happen, so wake up and get the fire of positive desires on.

• Sound Idea: Napoleon Hill once said that "All achievements and earned riches have their beginning in an idea. Everything begins with an idea. It is the genesis of all success". Every visible thing seen today has its roots in an invisible idea. You must be loaded with ideas to have super success1 Ideas rule the world. Consider with me in your mind a journey of 300 years backwards into history today. There were no cars, no aircraft, no cell phone, no I-phone, no I-pads, no radio, no diesel engines, no X-rays, no sewing machines, no bicycles, no electric pressing iron etc. The possibilities of all of these had always been around but awaiting the ideas that would birth them. When the idea for each one came, one by one they began to surface in reality! In order to truly success, you must be a trader in sound ideas! Between you and your next level is a fantastic idea. 

 
Every greatness in Bible times erupted form sound ideas! For instance, in Genesis 26, Isaac caught the sound idea for irrigation farming and that landed hundred folds return which translated to him becoming an envy of the Philistines.

In Genesis 30:31-37, Jacob got the idea for cross breeding and genetic engineering. No man can rise higher than the quality of ideas that run in your mind. riches do not start with money: it begins with a sound idea. But how can we access sound ideas?
