Making Global Impact

Our Mandate as believers is to the world and not to our locality alone. As a child of the Almighty you have a global destiny. As a citizen of the kingdom of light your singular light is enough to illuminate the earth.

           “He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.” 

          Mark 16:15 (NIV)

          “Ye are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.” Matthew 5:14 (NIV). You are designed to be a trailblazer in any field you find yourself. According to Genesis 14:22, our God is the Possessor of heaven and earth. Psalms 24:1 declares that the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. Therefore, you as a believer are a global citizen! Someone of your status however “is not meant to beg to enter any nation of the earth.” Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us; for it is written, cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree. That the blessing of Abraham might come on the gentiles through faith. Galatians 3:13-14. “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all the peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”  Genesis 12:3 (NIV). You are a partaker of the Abrahamic covenant. The implication of which is to be a global blessing! This covenant confers on you global impacts! However, it must be clear that global impacts does not answer to mere confession, it places a huge responsibility on us. Global impact has a global demand.

11. CARRY A GLOBAL VISION 

 It takes vision to make impact in life. Without a crystal clear vision there cannot be definite impacts in life. Men and women of great vision are people of great impacts in their respective fields in life. Nothing sponsors impactlessness like visionlessness! Global vision is the key to global impacts! Vision is the revelation of your assignment on earth. You are not here to mark time, you are here to register global impact! Jeremiah 1:5. Until your life assignment is revealed your life never makes a statement of impact in the lives of others. Your limit in life is not color determined but vision determined! You can discover your vision by the following scriptural means.

a. Divine encounter: like in the case of Moses at the burning bush in Exodus 3.

b. By praying the prayer of enquiry: like in the case of Saul of Tarsus who later became Paul the Apostle (see Acts 9:6).

c. Check your passions: vision generates passion. The thing you are passionate about are a clue to your assignment.

It is the discovery of your assignment that guarantees you destiny recovery. You can never grow beyond the size of your vision that determines your expansion and elevation in life.

            2. THINK EXPANSIVELY

David Schwartz the author of the Magic of Thinking Big once wrote: “Where success is concerned people are not measured in titles, college degrees or material possessions but they are measured by the size of their thinking.” It is your thoughts that determine your reach in life. Your life can never get to where your thought has not taken you. It’s your thinking that limits your living.

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…” Proverbs 23:7a

If it has not crossed your mind, it cannot cross your life by mistake. You need to think big thoughts to live a big life. The journey to global impacts begins in your mind. A small man is made of small thoughts while a big shot is made of big shots! Local thoughts give rise to local champions. You can never grow bigger than the size of your thoughts.

3. DEVELOP YOURSELF

Personal development is the principle key for great accomplishments in life. Until you change yourself your territory cannot change. External changes are the mercy of internal transformation! “And be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…” Romans 12:2a. When you change on the inside, the chains on the outside must drop off. Until you develop the capacity for the next level of accomplishments, you cannot get there! You need to have an insatiable hunger for relevant information.

Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15

Information is the currency for global relevance. Only global readers become global leaders! Only men of knowledge ever get acknowledged. Researchers are stars! Only searchers becomes finders. You must always desire to upgrade your life by updating your knowledge base regularly. What you knew yesterday brought you where you are today, in order to leave where you are now for a higher pedestal you must know more than you already knew. It’s a law of life! Strive not only to acquire assets but rather to be an asset! What you wear or have is not as important as who you are!
