What makes a powerful song ministration!

What makes a powerful song ministration  is not the amount of time spent on its rehearsal nor is it in our punctuality at every meeting; but the secret is rooted in a deeper knowledge and understanding of the message in the song that we minister, which can most importantly be received through meditation.

Someone may ask "Aren't we only meant to meditate on the word of God?" The fact is, there are many kinds of meditations, and they all are for different purposes. However, the one recommended here is the same that was recommended to Joshua by God in Joshua 1:8,  Still the same in 11 Tim 2:15 and Rom 12:2. Although the procedure is the same, only that this time, you're seeing beyond the vivid lyrics of the song, and thinking upon each line to know the mind of God behind that lyrics.

The cheapest way to acquire a free ticket into the spirit realm where the inspiration for the composition of that song originally came from is through meditation.
As ministers of songs, when we think in sync with God's word, upon the songs we minister, we become like a cooked beef. YES! A cooked beef. It's funny but imagine the taste of a cooked beef and all the ingredients added to spice it. Imagine that your spirit is the cooked beef and that those ingredients added to spice you up in the pot of meditation are the extra nutrients, if not the original message for somebody in the congregation.

BENEFITS OF MEDITATION.

1. IT ENLIGHTENS AND EMPOWERS US FOR OUR ASSIGNMENT. Proverb 20:27 Job32:8.
When one is enlightened and empowered, he doesn't think of himself as just another choir member coming to church because the choir must sing every sunday.
It is no longer about my voice that must be heard; (what if it's empty?)
It goes beyond waiting to be persuaded or sweet talked into service. Why not? Because there is an understanding; A sense of assignment which triggers the anticipation for any call to be a blessing,

2.IT ERADICATES FEAR AND INSTILLS CONFIDENCE BASED ON THE WORD OF GOD. 11 Tim 2
Fear is only present in the absence of assurance. Meditation is the easiest way to get assured based on God's word.

HOW TO MEDITATE.

Simply pick up the lyrics of that song and think on every line. The more you do this, the more you gain access into the world of inspiration. Proverb 20:27 Job 32:8

Finally, meditation is not complete without practice. Thinking gives us the message and activates our understanding but doing gives us the confidence required for a powerful ministration.
So Imagine if we all Meditate!
